Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. Today we will be making a delicious recipe for Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles. This dish is packed full of flavour and takes less than 15 minutes to make!

Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles are a quick and easy recipe for your healthy lunch or dinner can be prepared in just 15 minutes. This noodles recipe has a mix of spice and creaminess which makes it flavourful as well as easy. It’s also one of our favourite recipes to whip up during the cooler months.

This is another one of those instant hits from my high school days when I didn’t have much money to make something but wanted something delicious!

What are Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles?

Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles is a Sichuan cuisine inspired recipe . In this noodles recipe, stir-fried noodles are tossed in a spicy sauce made from chilli, garlic, butter and spring onions along with cooked noodles. You can add both veggies as well as protein of your choice like chicken or prawns to make it completely wholesome meal.

Despite having a few ingredients in the recipe it’s really very simple and easy to prepare at home . For this Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles Recipe I have used ready-made egg pasta but you can use any kind of noodle or pasta you like available at your local store.

The key ingredient here is chillies that give an amazing flavour to this dish along with butter ,garlic and spring onion greens which enhance their flavours while adding extra crunchiness to it too!

Ingredients

To make this recipe, you will need:

  • 1.5 cups cooked noodles/ pasta
  • 1tsp chilli flakes (more if you like it hot!)
  • 1tbs butter
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 ladle pasta water

Method

  • Melt butter in a pan, add chilli, garlic and sliced spring onion and saute until fragrant
  • Add cooked pasta
  • Add pasta water
  • Boil for 1 min
  • Take off the heat and add a raw egg to the mixture by cracking it into it with a spoon or spatula so that you don’t break the yolk! 6 Mix like crazy whilst the egg cooks in the residual heat (as this will help make sure your noodle don’t become soggy) 7 Garnish with a fried egg or more spring onions if desired!!

Chilli Butter Garlic Noodles is one of my favourite quick recipes due to its own unique flavours which goes extremely well with ingredients like tomatoes, celery, corn kernels and spring onions. The best part about this recipe is that you hardly need any preparation time to make it and can be cooked in just 15 minutes! I usually have this when I have less time on hand to cook something elaborate for lunch or dinner. The recipe that I am sharing here can be made with any ingredients you like; however there are two things that will add amazing flavour to any dish – chilli flakes and butter.
