Like a Healthy Magnum

Introduction

If you love magnums, but are looking to cut back on the sugar, these Healthy Magnum Cups will be your new favorite treat. These little cups of creamy dreaminess can be made in just a few minutes and taste just like their full-sugar counterparts but with much less guilt!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips, melted (or mini dark chocolate bar, chopped)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the maple syrup and yogurt together until thoroughly combined.
  • Freeze for at least two hours, or until solid all the way through (and ideally overnight).
  • Melt coconut oil in a small pot on very low heat, stirring often so that it doesn’t burn. Add chocolate chips to the melted coconut oil and stir until completely melted and combined with the coconut oil or you can melt in a microwave for 30sec to 1 min; set aside to cool slightly while you prepare your popsicle molds: if using plastic cups with sticks, cut them down to size so they don’t stick out; if using crockery (as seen above), grease them lightly with cooking spray before adding any 1 cup Greek yogurt

Conclusion

These healthy magnum bars are so easy to make, the hardest part is waiting for them to freeze! Get creative and make this your own you can add nuts or dried fruit, use your favorite protein powder or even add extra sweetener if you like things super sweet.
